HIX Soho boasts a fine British menu of seasonal delights, it’s hard to go wrong when their aim is to deliver the best brunch in London. But before we even get to the food, let’s talk about the impressive art collection that is suspended from above. Be mesmerized by Damien Hirst, Shezad Dawood and other artists contributing installations to the ceiling, such as a mini, kinetic mobile of small fish preserved in formaldehyde-filled Perspex boxes or loops of neon lighting. Next, about the food. It all begins with an old school drinks trolley which delivers endless Prosecco and Bloody Marys to your table. The menu features Hix’s most ordered breakfast dish, Albemarle smoked salmon ‘Hix cure’ with scrambled Burford Brown eggs. Bottomless means bottomless so keep ’em coming.
